What cookies are

Cookies are small text files saved on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies include tracking pixels in emails, which tell us whether an email was opened.

How we use them

• Essential: these keep the website working, for example remembering that you've subscribed or are logged in, and keeping the site secure.
• Analytics: these help us understand how many people visit, which pages they read and where they came from, so we can improve the site.
• Email tracking: Open and click tracking runs on your consent. By subscribing, you agree to us recording when you open our emails and which links you click. You can turn this off by blocking images or tracking in your email app, or you can unsubscribe at any time.

Who sets them

Our website and newsletter run on beehiiv, so most cookies and pixels are set by beehiiv on our behalf. If we add other tools, such as social media pixels, we'll update this policy first and ask for your consent where the law requires it.

Your choices

• Where non-essential cookies need your consent, we'll ask before setting them, and you can change your mind at any time.
• You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block essential cookies, parts of the site may not work.
• To stop email open tracking, turn off automatic image loading in your email app.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
